The Department of Agriculture offers three programs from 2017-18 onwards.

3 B.Tech Agricultural Engineering 4 Years +2 / PUC with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Biology with Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Home Science / Computer Science with 50% aggregate of all four subjects

These programmes are tailor-made to fit into the curriculum and syllabi prescribed by Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR). Qualified and competent faculty members and state of the art laboratories (including NABL accredited) to be part of the School of Agriculture and Biosciences.

Programme Highlights

An Agriculture research station and Model farm being developed with the collaboration of experts from Israel. The research station will have poly-houses, micro-irrigation using solar energy, sensors to monitor and control and application of GIS, GPS, RS for precision farming.MoUs have been signed for collaboration with the reputed institutes in Israel – Technion, Hebrew University and Blaustein Desert Research Institute (BGU).
