Dr. Vinay Thakur

 

Dr Vinay Thakur has more than 25 years of experience in implementing IT and e-Governance Projects. He holds a doctorate degree in Computer Science. Dr. Thakur has implemented many e-Governance projects comprising of Land Records Computerisation NREGA workflow, Mobile based Fertilizer Monitoring System, PM Gatishakti, GeM etc. Also, he has also published around 30 papers on e-Governance, Land records and Social impacts of e-Governance projects and guided around 60 MCA / MTech / B.E. students. Presently he is working as Managing Director, NICSI, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY).  He also holds additional Charge of Additional Director General, BiSAG-N

Prof. Girijesh Prasad

Prof. Girijesh Prasad is Professor of Intelligent Systems in the School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems, Ulster University (UU), UK. He is a Director of Northern Ireland Functional Brain Mapping (NIFBM) facility at UU’s Intelligent Systems Research Centre (ISRC), where he leads the Cognitive Neuroscience and Neurotechnology research team. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of IET, a Fellow of Higher Education Academy, a Senior Member of IEEE, and a founder member of IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics society’s Technical Committee on Brain-Machine Interface Systems. In 2017, he was awarded the Fellowship of International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) India, and the Senior Distinguished Research Fellowship of Ulster University. His research interests are in intelligent systems, data engineering, brain modelling, brain-computer interface (BCI) & neuro-rehabilitation, and assistive technology. Under his supervision, an advanced rehabilitation protocol has been developed incorporating an active physical practice stage followed by a mental practice stage, using a neuro-rehab system consisting of a robotic hand exoskeleton and an EEG/EEG-EMG based BCI, which has been trialled on groups of chronic stroke patients in UK as well as India, resulting in transformative change in patients’ quality of life. He has published over 290 research papers in journals, edited books, and conference proceedings. He has supervised to complete 22 Ph.D scholars. His research has attracted 21 research grant awards amounting to over £10M funding from national and international agencies including Invest Northern Ireland, Department of Employment and Learning, Research Councils UK (RCUK), Leverhulme Trust, Royal Society, UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI), UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and Irish industry.

Dr. Harigovindan V P, Associate Professor, NIT, Puducherry


V. P. Harigovindan (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Bachelor of Technology degree in electronics and communication engineering from the University of Calicut, the Master of Technology degree (Hons.) in digital electronics and communication systems from Visvesvaraya Technological University, and the Ph.D. degree from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, in 2013. He is currently the Head of the Department and an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Puducherry (under the Ministry of Education, Government of India). He has more than 40 international publications to his credit. He serves as the Principal Investigator for three funded projects, each from the Department of Science and Technology, the Government of India, the Science and Engineering Research Board, and Microsoft AI for Earth. His research interests include wireless networks and wireless communications.

Dr. T. Shanmuganantham


Dr. T. Shanmuganantham is a Professor and Head of the Department of Department of Electronics Engineering, Pondicherry Central University, Pondicherry. His research area of interests includes Analysis, Optimization, Design, Development and Characterization of Antennas, Microwave/millimetre-wave/Terahertz Engineering, MEMS/NEMS, RF Design & Technology, Optical Communication Components & Subsystems and Specific antenna design for 5G/6G/7G, MIMO, Array antenna for beam forming and beam steering, Wireless on-body Communications (Wearable Antennas), in-body Communications (Implantable Antennas), Automotive, Healthcare, Satellite, Space, and Wireless industries.
He has published 231 papers in Peer Referred Journals, 426 papers in Conference Proceedings and 12 Book Chapters Published in Taylor and Francis, Springer Nature and Elsevier. Professor Shanmuganantham is a Fellow of Antenna Test and Measurement Society (ATMS) elected by ISRO Scientists and also elected as Senior Member in URSI, Senior Member in IEEE, IEEE Antenna & Propagation Society, IEEE Circuits & System Society, IEEE Microwave Theory & Technique Society, Life Member in ISSS, IETE, IE (India), CSI (India), Society of ISTE, EMC, ILA, OSI and ISI. Currently, he is serving as Chairman of IEEE Antenna Propagation Society (Madras Section) since January 2020. Prof. Nguyen Ha Huy Cuong


Prof. Nguyen Ha Huy Cuong obtained his doctorate in Computer Science / Resource Allocation Cloud Computing  in 2017 from the University of Da Nang. He has published over 50 research papers. His main research interests include the resource allocation, detection, prevention, and avoidance of cloud computing and distributed systems. He serves as a technical committee program member, track chair, session chair and reviewer of many international conferences and journals.  He is a guest editor journal “International Journal of Information Technology Project Management (IJITPM)” with  Special Issue On: Recent Works on Management and Technological Advancement. Currently, he is working at – Software Development Centre – Univeristy of Danang.
