(Inbound Mobility)

Karunya Global StudEx Program offers international students a unique opportunity to potentially enrol in coursework and also engage in a Capstone Project Opportunity (CPO) at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, India. Participants need not pay tuition fee to the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences while earning transferable credits that may be recognized by their home institution.

Semester Abroad Program

The Global StudEx Program provides inbound students from various engineering, arts, science, and management disciplines with the opportunity to pursue cutting-edge courses and undertake capstone research projects.

Global Summer Programs

Global Summer Programs offer students immersive academic and cultural experiences at international partner institutions during the summer break. These programs enhance subject-specific knowledge through short-term, intensive learning modules.

How to enroll Global StudEx Program?

Apply for Global StudEx
  • Students will be initially selected by their home institution based on academic merit. Final acceptance will be determined by the Global Engagement Office.
  • The accepted students will be considered as International Exchange Students and will be subject to all the rules and regulations of the institution, adhering to them in the same manner as regular students.
  • Each student will follow a program of study mutually agreed upon by both institutions.
  • Health insurance coverage must be arranged by the student upon arrival at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
  • Academic performance will be evaluated in accordance with the regulations of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. The final grades will be forwarded to the relevant contact at the home institution as soon as the mobility period concludes.
  • The Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences will provide the home institution with the student's grades according to its own grading scale.

Admission Requirements

The student is eligible to participate in the exchange program if he/she meets the following conditions:

  • Student must be enrolled as a full-time student at his/her home institution both at the time of application and throughout the exchange period at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
  • Ensure the courses align with your degree program and will be transferable to your home institution.
  • Undergraduate and graduate students whose primary language of instruction is English need not provide additional proof of English proficiency.

Course Offerings (Spring 2025)

For the Spring/Fall Semester, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences offers a diverse selection of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across disciplines such as Engineering, Sciences, and Management. Students can register for credit-bearing courses aligned with their academic background and interests, facilitating seamless credit transfer. Karunya Global Outbound Mobility

Karunya actively promotes outbound student mobility, allowing students to gain invaluable international experience through various programs. This initiative enables students to study at partner universities worldwide, where they can immerse themselves in different cultures, enhance their academic knowledge, and develop a global perspective. Participants in outbound mobility can take advantage of academic credit transfer options, ensuring that the courses they complete abroad align with their degree requirements at Karunya.
Additionally, students have opportunities to engage in internships, research projects, and collaborative initiatives during their time abroad, further enriching their education. This exposure not only boosts their employability but also fosters personal growth and intercultural understanding, preparing them to thrive in an increasingly globalized world. International Pathway Programs (IPP)

As a globally connected institution, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences offers not only semester exchange programs but also well-structured transfer and articulation pathways for students aspiring to complete their studies abroad. These programs are particularly beneficial for students aiming for an international degree but facing financial constraints or other family concerns about studying abroad at a young age. Our international transfer process involves meticulous course mapping, ensuring that credits earned at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences can be seamlessly transferred to the host institution. This means that students can complete their studies without the need to repeat courses, ultimately receiving their final degree from the partner institution.

    3 + 1 Program (B.Tech) 3 Years at Karunya + 1 Year at Foreign HEI UG degree from Foreign HEI Opportunity for B.Tech students to transfer after 3 years and earn an undergraduate degree from the partner university.
    2 + 2 Program 2 Years at Karunya + 2 Years at Foreign HEI UG degree from Foreign HEI Balanced program offering global exposure and dual-campus learning experience for undergraduates.
    Regular Master's Program Full Master's degree at Foreign HEI Master's degree from Foreign HEI Conventional route for students completing UG at Karunya to pursue postgraduate studies abroad.
