About Leibniz Institute for Material-Oriented Technologies – IWT, Bremen

The Leibniz-IWT belongs to the Leibniz Association - one of the four major non-university research organizations in German connecting 97 independent research institutions. The Leibniz-IWT stands for research in the field of new materials, new processes and optimised components. The scientific untributriory range from the production of materials, such as powder production for additive manufacturing, to the analysis of the final machined components, for example high-precision gears. Various disciplines conduct joint research at the IWT on materials-oriented future technologies with a focus on classic metals such as steel and aluminum, but increasingly also on hybrid composite materials. The Bremen institute's fields of expertise include the production of nanomaterials and metal powders, the process of spray compacting, and all heat treatment processes. Other fields of work include surface technology, materials characterization and modeling and service life testing, gearing technology, ultra- precision machining and cooling lubricant application. With its main topics, the IWT addresses issues of digitalization, resource and energy efficiency, lightweight construction as well as materials, process and production development, especially in the drive technology industry. The institute is active in both basic research and application-oriented research, including the direct transfer of results and knowledge to companies and society.

About London South Bank University (LSBU)

London South Bank University (LSBU) is one of London's largest and oldest university with over 125 years of experience providing engineering skills. The university has a good track record of participation in EU-funded programmes, including many in FP6, FP7 and Horizon 2020 and has previously coordinated MANANO (FP7-PEOPLE-2010-ITN Project 264710). LSBU has a healthy track record of managing grants from the UK Research Councils, Government departments and the European Commission, as well as industry and charities, and has internal systems in place to support large, multi-partner projects. LSBU has a long tradition and strong commitment to both fundamental and applied research in the areas of electronics and structural materials, sustainable design and manufacture as well as multistage simulations using finite element and atomic simulations.LSBU owns a wide range of manufacturing facilities and equipment including latest Computer numeric control (CNC); 3D printing technologies, laser cutting; plasma spraying as well as high-performance computing with one of the newest standard HPC recently bought and established in its Croydon Campus. The material characterization facilities include SEM, XRD, FTIR, TGA, scanning acoustic microscopy, micro Raman, atomic force microscope, nano indentation etc. The university has an extensive training infrastructure with nearly 1000 employers using LSBU to train approximately 4500 of their staff each year and over 150 subject matter expertise (SME) from various major companies that have formed commercial research partnership. In recent times, LSBU is contributing its eﬀorts to the GCRF funded SUNRISE programme. EPSRC Network Plus programme, TFI Network plus funded feasibility studies. Royal Academy of Engineering sponsored Pandemic preparedness award and the Royal Society funded Newton International Fellowship awards among many high value projects currently running.

The advancement in Additive Manufacturing (AM) technique has the potential to fundamentally transform how parts are manufactured. AM is a step ahead of machining methods in the ability to accomplish the idea of "near net shape manufacturing" and to produce intricate geometries The Additive Manufacturing techniques are being implemented with a variety of materials, including biological materials, metallic and polymeric materials. Additionally, the fabrication of metallic components by AM has emerged as one of the most significant research areas.Advances In Multi- Material Additive Manufacturing (AiM AM-24) aims to bring together acclaimed academicians, scientists, researchers, industrialists, technocrats, and professionals from the domains of Additive Manufacturing and related technologies to explore new horizons of key enabling technologies for identifying opportunities and defining the path ahead in the field of Digital Manufacturing. With the goal of converting research to application through standardisation, this conference covers the fundamentals of contemporary manufacturing processes in addition to the implementation needs of diverse industry sectors. The conference will provide a firm foundation for young minds to explore research in the areas of additive manufacturing and 3-D printing, and it will inspire them to create new technologies for the benefit of future generations of humans. Additionally, it will offer a plethora of opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing.

The Conference registration fee includes admission to all technical and paper presentation sessions and certificate. All the registred participants will receive e-proceedings at the time of Conference.

Author Registration

The authors and participants can register for the conference using the link given below. The registration Confirmation will be intimated once the registration fee reaches the conference secretaries. The authors/delegates have a combination of four options to register.
An author/delegate willing to send the full paper / an extended abstract can register through either early bird registration or post early bird. The full papers that are sent to the conference will be published in a Scopus Index proceeding. The extended papers that are sent to the conference will be published in the proceedings book with ISBN that will be brought out by the conference organizers.
