The department of English signed an MoU WITH Cambridge ESOL, London. It is an open centre for Cambridge BEC exams and students from other institutions in India can register for their exams in this centre. Every year 1200 students take up the exams. All the faculty members are trained by language experts from Cambridge ESOL and the faculty are approved speaking examiners. The students get the following Cambridge certificates. BEC Preliminary BEC Vantage Department of English, Karunya University was awarded the best centre award for the year 2013 and 2014 and 2017. The best BEC Exam coordinator award for year 2016 is also bagged by our university.
