Considering the social relevance of Water, Food, Health and Energy, Karunya has identified them as the focal areas for its academic, research and extension activities.
An expert consultation and brainstorming session was organized. An Expert Team consisting of intellectuals, scientists and technologists discussed on the problems faced by India in the areas of Food, Water, Energy, Healtch, advanced technologies and research gaps in these areas, policies and regulatory mechanisms, sources and agencies for funding the projects of social relevance.
Dr Paul Dhinakaran, Chancellor interacted with the experts. Around 2000 students viewed the webcast of the program online at various locations in campus.
