Research Programmes:

Built on the vision of Karunya University, the Academic Research programme aims to provide suitable ambience, infrastructure and policies in order to facilitate the scholars to find solutions to human problems in areas relating to water, food, healthcare and energy through scientific, social and technological research. This has essentially necessitated the growth of interdisciplinary research.

The University will advertise in leading newspapers and also through University website for calling for application for admission into Ph.D / M.Phil program during March / April and also during September / October every year. Eligible applicants will be invited to write a written test conducted by the University. The written test will be in 2 parts. Part 1 is on general aptitude and Part 2 is a technical aptitude for research. The questions through Part 2 will be department specific. After the test, the candidates will be asked to appear in an interview and the rank list will be prepared. Depending on the vacancy available, students will be admitted into the programmes.

The University shall advertise for Ph.D / M.Phil (Full-Time / Part-Time) programmes for the July intake as well as for the November intake.

PhD (Full Time / Part Time)

We offer PhD in Management thorough Full Time and Part Time mode.  The Minimum eligibility is 55% of marks or equivalent CGPA. However 5% relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST.

M.Phil (Full Time / Part Time)

We offer M.Phil in Management thorough Full Time and Part Time mode. Minimum Eligibility is any Master Degree in Arts, Science, Computer Application and Management of this University or any other qualification recognized 

Post Graduate Programmes: MBA

We offer Two year MBA full time programme in HR, Finance, Marketing, International Business, Operations, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.  The Minimum eligibility is Bachelors or Master’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized University. Preference will be given to candidates who have work experience and have scored more than 60% in their qualifying exam. Accepted qualifying entrances include CAT / MAT / XAT (Minimum MAT Score - 400 (Or) CAT / XAT - 50 percentile. 

In case candidate has not appeared in CAT / MAT / XAT or the score is less than the required cut-off accepted by KUBS, then the candidate has to appear for Karunya Management Aptitude Test (KMAT).

MBA Part Time*

We offer a three year MBA Part Time programme for the office executives and professionals in all the specializations offered in regular mode.

Undergraduate Programmes:

BBA:

Most universities therefore, plan the degree such that in addition to their major, students are exposed to general business principles, taking courses in accounting, finance, business management, human resources, statistics, marketing, economics, and information systems.
The degree is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and their interconnection, while also allowing for specialization in a particular area. B.B.A. programs expose students to a variety of "core subjects" and allow students to specialize in a specific academic area. The degree also develops the student’s practical, managerial and communication skills, and business decision-making capability. Many programs incorporate training and practical experience, in the form of case projects, presentations, internships, industrial visits, and interaction with experts from the industry.

1. Com Professional Accounting:

We offer a three year B.Com Professional Accounting course in the under graduate level.
The degree is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and their Accounting and financing domain.  The curriculum is well designed to align with the professional practices followed by the CA and ICWAs. The degree also develops the students’ practical, managerial and communication skills, and business decision-making capability. This program incorporates training and practical experience with the Chartered Accountants and special care is given to each individual to clear the foundation courses of CA / ICWA / ACS.
