About the Program

The Highlights of MA English Program includes conventional and contemporary Courses such as British Literature, Modern Applied Linguistics, Canadian Literature, American Literature, Indian Diasporic Literature, English Structure and Phonetics, Feminism, World Literature in Translation, Essentials of Scholarly Writing, Women’s Writing and Business English.

The faculty also teach the students of Engineering, Arts and Science and Management Courses on Technical English, Communicative English, Soft skills, and extend training in Computer Aided Language Teaching Lab, Language and Literature Studies Lab and Language Proficiency Lab.

The Institution is recognized as a member of British Council Exam Partnership to conduct various International Language Exams. The students are also trained for all levels of BEC (Business English Certificate) and CAE (Cambridge Advanced English).
