1 | URK19AC1011 | Derek Gladio | Beehive for climate change | Apiary | Bees require 32-36°C hive temperature for survival. However, when temperature rises to 40°C bees only survive for about 3 days. At 45°C bees die in less than 24 hours. To prevent hives getting too hot, honey bee fan their wings and collect water to help prevent brood drying out. To maintain optimum temperature during summer the worker bees line up at the entrance and start fanning their wings. In adding a special group of worker bees bring the temperature. To maintain the bee hive temperature the climate control bee boxes were designed. which will maintain the optimum temperature inside the hive during summer and winter season |
2 | URK19AC1131 URK19AC1148 URK19AC1127 URK19AC1011 | Sirisha P Sanjay A Mohamed Ashif A.Derek Gladio | Fertigator | Agricultural farms | This project is about fertigator, which are used to provide fertilizer 45-60 days after planting and then earthen up. It is a machine with multiple functions. This machine aids farmers in the application of fertilizer and earthing up. This type of inter cultivation is most commonly used in agricultural and horticultural crops. |
3 | PRK21AC2026 | Bexell George | Animal deterrent | Agricultural farms | Birds and Wild animal infestation was found as one of the major reasons for crop loss among the farmers, especially during the germination and maturation stage their occurrence is seen more. To reduce this loss, an instrument was designed that functions on the principle of wind energy conversion. The motor shaft operates by harnessing the wind, when the propeller rotates at a certain rpm, the string connected to its shaft hits the metal plate producing sound waves, which restricts the entry of wild animals as well as birds. However, when the wind velocity reduces, the shaft operation is interrupted. In this innovation, the motor will be made to function 24*7 throughout the day and night during the crop duration. Outcome: An innovative bird cum animal deterrent to increase farm productivity. |

But dry flower techniques add value to the plant materials which are considered as waste. Lot of innovative products viz., key chains, pendants, photo frame, paper weight, table décor products were developed |
