ABOUT THE FORUM

The student association is a platform for student to explore their skills and knowledge through technical and non-technical activities in the field of Electronics, Communication and Computer Engineering. This platform provides a holistic nourishment to develop their technical expertise, leadership skill, team building prowess and volunteering ability. The all rounded professional development of our students is supported by following student associations.

ECE ASSOCIATION

ECE High-tech Organization (ECHO) is a student association run by the student exclusively for the students of ECE/ECM. This is a unique forum for development of multi-faceted skill among the student to improve their employability and research attitude. It organises several events to enhance the team spirit, professional behaviour and technical aptitude.

IEEE STUDENT BRANCH

The IEEE Student Branch of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences is a technical forum for giving international exposure to students apart from cultivating creative mind to do technical innovations by organizing various events like guest lectures, workshops, project expo, conferences and competitions on ongoing tools and technologies. The students also extend their support in sharing knowledge with students of rural schools in local community by demonstrating basic principles of physics and electricity. They also engage in conducting summer schools for school students who aspire to become engineers. The student branch is associated with IEEE Madras Section, Region 10.

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is one of the leading Professional Society in India. This provides a common platform for students to exchange ideas in technical topics of interest. The activities of this forum serve as a catalyst for the overall growth in technical and professional skills of the students. Most importantly, events hosted by this forum encourages team spirit and self-reliance among the student members.
