Engineering Physics Lab for I B.Tech
The Applied Physics laboratory is well equipped with standard and latest technology to provide hands on experience to all the engineering students to understand and learn the concepts which has been discussed in the classroom. The students will have the opportunity to implement the experiments to observe and measure a number of physical phenomena. The experiments will be related to the field of heat, electronics, electricity and magnetism, optics and modern physics thus covering the broad span of the syllabus.
M.Sc Physics Laboratory
Our M.Sc Physics lab provides advanced lab facility to the M.Sc students in experiments related to their different theory courses. This laboratory covers the experiments from the fields of General Physics, Advanced Physics, Computational Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Electronics, Materials science and spectroscopic techniques. Also in their final year the students will do the full semester project using the research lab facilities available at the Department of Applied Physics
B.Sc Optometry Laboratory
Being an Optometrist it is essential to practice and understand. Hence, we offer an Optometry laboratory that consists of all the required equipment to provide in-depth knowledge to understand the optics in the ocular system. Using Auto keratometer equipment, the students will be able to detect the refractive status of the eye and to measure the curvature of the cornea. Using Slit lamp, the students will examine the tissues of the eye and its adnexa.
Department Library
A unique place in a department that support and facilitate teaching, learning and research is a Department library. Our library initiated during the start of the department is well-equipped with collection of various books related to different fields of physics. Having a total of more than 500 books it facilitates not only for physics but engineering students as well. Not restricting to the professional reading the library provides a good amount of leisure reading and books for soft skills development.
