Master of Technology (Food Processing and Engineering)
Master of Technology in Food Processing and Engineering is a two years full time, residential programme. This programme aims to provide an advanced education in the areas of Emerging techniques in food processing, Dairy, Meat and Poultry, Advanced unit operations, Instrumentation & controls, Food quality analysis and safety, Food supply chain & logistics, Data analysis and optimization. The department provides excellent opportunities and facilities for research in food engineering, new product and process development, packaging, dehydration and process equipment fabrication.
B.E/B.Tech/A.M.I.E in Food Processing Engineering//Agricultural Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Food Technology/Dairy Technology/Poultry Technology/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examinations from a recognized University/Institution.
Master of Science (Food Science and Technology)
M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology is a two years full time, residential programme. Our students will be trained to become food scientists who develop new products in any leading food Industry, to set a career as a lead auditor and to become entrepreneurs to start up food industries. The students get educated in the following fields: food science, food safety, food technology of different products, statistics, computational design, internet of things, energy auditing and managerial skills. As a part of the curriculum, the students will get trained in food industries to get real time experience and gain problem solving skills.
Bachelor Degree in Life sciences (Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry), Food Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, Home Science related subjects, B.Sc. Agriculture, Other science (Any Science degree holder who completed PG Diploma in Food Processing / Food Science & Technology related discipline).
