Department of Food Processing Technology offers both fulltime and part time research programmes in all major areas of food science, technology and engineering with an emphasis on food processing and preservation, Novel food product development, food engineering and food safety and quality. The Department is having highly qualified faculty with experience and expertise in the fields of Agricultural and Post-harvest engineering, food science technology and engineering, chemical engineering, food Chemistry, food Microbiology, for guiding the research scholars .The Department is equipped with excellent research facilities and laboratories with state of the art equipment in the fields of food processing and technology.
Master’s Degree in Life sciences (Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry), Food Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, Home Science related subjects, M.Sc. Agriculture, Other science (Any Science degree holder who completed PG Diploma in Food Processing / Food Science & Technology related discipline).
